Garden Makeovers

With experience in the field comes time spent in many different gardens. Seeing new and interesting things, designs, layouts, features, and architecture. With this, I can help you give your garden a makeover, whether that be complete redesign, border layouts and styles or soft landscaping creating visuals – building a relationship of shapes to create cohesion in your garden.

A garden makeover can be a small and simple job, to a complete transformation. However its perceived, it can ultimately change your garden for the better. Below are a few examples of what may need tending to.

• New lawn
• Border installation or redesign
• Fence repair or replacement
• Installation of trellis or wires to train climbers
• Change the style and layout of the garden
• Soil improvements

When transforming a garden, the first and most important thing is establishing the relationship with you, and what you require of the garden. Even though I have opinions, and style, its your garden and needs to work for you.

• Maybe you have young children, not ideal for poisonous species or pointy ends.
• Or perhaps you play a lot of sport – fragile plants not so much the option.
• Maybe you only use the garden at certain points in the year – we can focus on scents and colour for this time of year.
• Perhaps you don’t enjoy or haven’t got time for gardening at all and require a low maintenance plot.

Once we have discussed how the garden can fit your lifestyle, we can begin transforming it from a multi-style, piecemeal garden, to something that flows, is practical, and matches. I will apply what I have learnt in my years of gardening to give you options, staying sympathetic to your requirements, current architecture and style, and of course the cost.
