Hedges and shrubs can really define your garden, adding a perimeter, sectioning off, or just as features dotted throughout the garden. Each plant will require a specific approach. Understanding the species and what time of the year is best, the shape you’re trying to achieve, some plants are multi year projects. Also, the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of some species, that may require special care. I will always perform delicately and compassionately when trimming around the garden. I have a keen eye to detail and control for the machines, able to create the perfect curve, straight line, or shape that you desire for the shrubs. I take my time and understand that simple mistakes could take years to correct, or in some cases unable to rectify at all!
Furthermore, the tools will always be maintained and sharp, to promote clean cuts increasing the longevity and amenity value. They will be regularly cleaned and disinfected to stop cross contamination of certain diseases that may pose threats around the garden.
All work will be carried out in the safest manner, using the correct ladders, hedge cutters/tools. The ladders I use are free standing and can level out the most uneven ground. So, no matter if the hedge is on a slope, or above a ditch, I can assure you that I will work in the safest of ways. In some cases, scaffolding may be required, depending on the size, I will employ a professional to install. All waste will be removed in the correct manner, with waste carriers’ licence to hand, and paper trail of removal if so required.
